II-Legal Aid of Western Ohio
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:LAWO provides low-income residents with a variety of civil legal services, including litigation, negotiation, and community education. Special projects serve victims of domestic violence, senior citizens, and migrant farmworkers. Provides representation in a number of areas, including: domestic violence, and other family-related problems, housing issues, public benefits, bankruptcy and debt collection, education and employment issues, elder lay, and the problems confronting migrant farmworkers. LAWO cannot accept traffic or criminal cases.
SERVICE HOURS:Monday - Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
ELIGIBILITY:Determined through application process. LAWO can only provide assistance to persons who are actually experiencing a legal problem. We cannot answer general legal questions or provide advice for calls who are seeking help on behalf of someone else.
