Florida Area Agencies on Aging
Florida Area Agencies on Aging are eleven partner agencies working as a team to help assure the merited
right of Older Floridians to live their retirement years with dignity.
The Florida Association of Area Agencies meets on a regular basis to share data, plan advocacy activities, and design coordinated aging programs. The eleven partner organizations work closely with the Florida Department of Elder Affairs to develop effective and efficient projects benefiting a large number of Florida's constituency of over three and a half million seniors. Both the Department and the Area Agencies continually apprise the community and elected officials of the many benefits Older Americans bring to the State and Nation.
The agencies making up the Florida Area Agencies on Aging network are:
The Northwest Area Agency on Aging
The Area Agency on Aging for North Florida
The Area Agency on Aging of Pasco-Pinellas, Florida
The West Central Florida Area Agency on Aging, Inc.
