Agency Information Update

The 211/HELPLINK Community Services Database is available online to anyone seeking information for Marin, Napa, San Francisco, Santa Cruz and Solano Counties. For San Mateo County, 211/HELPLINK partners closely with San Mateo's Community Information Program (CIP) to update and maintain the 211 San Mateo database. 211/HELPLINK maintains information on a wide variety of community services including help with basic needs (clothing, food and shelter), child care, disaster-related services, employment, health care, holiday programs, legal assistance, mental health services, substance abuse, volunteer opportunities and much more.


2-1-1/HELPLINK strives to adhere to national standards for keeping our database comprehensive and current. We encourage community service providers to not only add their vital services to our database but commit to keeping their information current. We will send periodic e-mails reminders with instructions to make it easy. In an effort to help the environment, we have instituted an online updating system that we hope service providers will find quick and user-friendly. Instructions on how to add your organization and submit updates online can be found in the options below.


Review the service provider options below and click an option for your next step. Note: 211 aims for a 72 hour turn-around time in processing your request. However, this time frame may be extended if we experience a large increase in the number of organizations that have submitted requests. As a reminder, our 211/HELPLINK Community Services Database includes organizations in the following counties: Napa, Marin, San Francisco, Santa Cruz and Solano as well as some state or national programs where appropriate.

Helpful Search Hints

Service

Search using Service when you know one or more of the words in a service terms. For example, searching with the words rent and assistance will help you find the service term rent payment assistance.


Agency/Program Name

Search using Agency/Program Name when you know one or more of the words in a service provider name or program name. For example, search with the words red and cross to find American Red Cross locations and see what services are offered.


Not finding what you want?

If you don’t find any matching results, change the drop down list from Any Word to Partial Word. This is the least restrictive search. Finding too much on the results list? If there are too many results matching the word you used for searching, try the following to see fewer matches: Use more words for searching. For example, search with the three words bill payment assistance instead of just the word assistance. Another example is to search with the words abuse counseling or abuse prevention instead of just abuse. Change the drop down list from Any Word to All Words or Exact Phrase. This is the most restrictive search.
